Ketika ini sedang berlangsung Karnival Impak Inspirasi Proton di East Coast Mall Kuantan. Karnival yang turut berlangsung di Ipoh & Melaka bermula 12-14 November 2010. Ini adalah sempena pelancaran model Proton Inspira baru-baru ini. Saya sempat meluangkan masa ke sana tadi, di sana terdapat pameran model-model Proton sedia ada seperti Exora, Saga, Persona serta Inspira. Terdapat juga gerai jualan cenderahati Proton serta sesi pemeriksaan kereta Proton secara percuma. Tidak lupa juga konti Hot FM yang membuat siaran luar secara langsung tadi bersama DJ Faizal. Agak meriah tapi masih kekurangan dari segi bahan pameran, sepatutnya Proton dah mula buat pameran R&D bergerak seperti yang saya pernah cadangkan sebelum ini. Bawalah model konsep terkini, sketching, clay model atau prototype, enjin & gearbox serta buat video khas R&D untuk ditatapan umum agar orang ramai lebih faham, mengenali & mengetahui proses pembuatan kereta. Jangan sekadar buat sales semata-mata, tapi minda rakyat tak dibuka & diajar. Ini la caranya nak mengurangkan “bashers” dan menaikkan reputasi Proton. Harap didengar & dipertimbangkan. 🙂

berbalik kepada kenyataan diatas, mmg unit test drive lambat ada. kat area saya aritu ada 4inspira dekat yard proton. Lepas pelancaran terus ilang.. x tau la kemana. Hentah2 tengah tampal decal/stiker kat kereta tu kot.

baru test drive inspira 1.8 cvt tadi kt coe.. dtg lepas blk kerja dlm kul 8pm.. ingtkan x dpt la test drive.. sembang2 dgn brader s.a tu tetiba je dia offer test drive.. huhu
mmg best la tapi track tak panjang so tak dpt test drive smpai gear 6..

French carmaker Renault SA is about to sell its remaining 25 percent stake in its namesake Formula One team to Malaysia’s Proton, Le Figaro reported, citing people close to the matter it didn’t identify.
Proton’s Lotus Cars brand will be the team’s sponsor for about 30 million euros ($41 million) annually over five years, and the team’s new name may be Lotus-Renault as the French automaker will keep providing engines, Le Figaro said.
Renault will also continue making engines for Red Bull Racing and Malaysia Racing Team, the report said.
Renault last winter sold 75 percent of the team to Genii Capital Partners, Le Figaro said.

there is something come to my thinking since last time we can see a waja with 4g18, renault engine, then the campros and the v6 perdanas in it as a powerplant variant.
so would it posssible the mitsubishi 4B series engine to be employed in as a one of choices engine for all proton cars?… we are already a collaborator,,,,

sgt tepat bro campromania.. satu pandangan dan komen yang membangun dan membina, mereka (proton) seharusnya lebih agresif dalam usaha promosi yang dapat merapatkan pengunjung serta menambat hati potential client dan juga agar proton tidak duduk di “comfort zone”..dan yang lebih penting untuk mendiamkan bashers2 yang sedia ada2.

i hope inspira could be supplied with thinner temporary tyre therefore the boot space will increase more. at the moment the boot seemed shallow due to its full size spare. i was shocked few people complained the boot is smal while the car is big. so we have to sort this out.
the rubber bits on inspira is good. high quality, with good value of elasticity. its a mitsubishi oem quality i guess.
i think local rubber parts is hard if we look at it on persona saga exora so on. we do need a high quality rubber parts. suspension bushing for example ,if it hard and lower in elasticity it might contribute to rubber give ways and settled, this will contribute to suspension noise transfer and would effect NVH in not too long period. thats my view.
hope someone do correct me if its not right.
