Tanda-tanda pelancaran Saga FLX (IAFM+ dengan kotak gear CVT) semakin hampir telah kelihatan!!! Sahabat kita bro Prolever telah berjaya menemui kereta ini di tempat simpanan kereta Proton di Kamunting. Difahamkan kereta ini untuk showroom Proton di Taiping. Jika dilihat pada gambar tersebut jelas kelihatan emblem FLX . Bro Prolever sempat mengintai interior nye, tapi tak berapa jelas sebab silau matahari. Lagi satu kereta ini mungkin versi asas sebab tiada “rim sukan” dan pemegang pintu berwarna hitam. Terima kasih bro Prolever kerana sudi berkongsi gambar ini dengan kita semua. 🙂

Rasanya Saga FL tidak termasuk sebagai ‘kenderaan pemasangan baru’. Saga FL adalah model derived dari Saga BLM yang pada asalnya tidak diwajibkan dual airbags. Saga FL adalah model facelift.
Dalam undang-undang Malaysia, term pemasangan baru kadang-kadang disebut sebagai ‘Model Baru’. Selalunya di-embed sekali dengan tarikh pemasangan.
New Myvi Lagi Best adalah model pemasangan baru. Jadi ia diwajibkan dual airbags. Jadi maksudnya New Myvi adalah model yang lain daripada previous Myvi..

ok throgh my observation, if the cam gear cover bulges (like the cfe engine) ,it will have a vvt mech, but if we look here the cam gear cover is flat, so no vvt in,
for example ,this picture.
so FLX penutup timing belt tu rata je so tarak la vvt. sad,,,,

rasanya ESP button. kalau tak silap, ESP boleh on-off.
ABS is anti-lock brake system… it help u control the car while braking
ESP is electronic stability program, it help control the car while accelerating
usually ESP comes with ABS. maybe this car fitted with ABS bcoz all new car in Australia must be fitted with ABS. Saga or S16 agak laris kat Australia nun.

just an opinion, normally od button is made for easy and fast reaction on off. so the placement of the button is at finger tip or in flick actions. putting the switch down there means it will not allow that kind of quick activity.

Xtaula, nampak mcm minggu ni nak launch. Ada sesapa ada brochure? Sy pernah pernah letak dulu comment ni dari Engineer Proton mengenai IAFM+
soalan saya: bro satu kemuskilan,betul ke akan ada engine Campro IAFM+,plus ape yer…ada VVT ke??sebab setahu masa kat KLIMS hari tu cuma tgok Campro CFE jer…boleh tolong sikit bro?
Jawapan dia:campro iafm+ tuh improvement dari current iafm+..utk engine ni tune dia lain kit…kalo campro iafm dia high end rpm baru perform..tapi iafm+ ni low end rpm dia dah perform..in other words engine iafm+ ni lagi pick up dari iafm..
Soalan saya: maknanya cuma improvement dari segi iafm yer,mmg tidak akan dipasang vvt kan..low end rpm target berapa untuk iafm+ ni,hari tu kat klims target low rpmuntuk CFE budak rnd tu cakap 1800 tp skrang baru dapat 2000..
Jawapan dia: iafm+ ni torque dia kuat sama cps tapi dia shift ke low end lebih kurang at 3500rpm..so mmg pick up la iafm+ ni..

Nampaknya kena test drive nih. Satu2nya model cvt yg saya biasa drive hanyalah Nissan Xtrail 2.5. Ada overdrive. Rpm 2500 pada kelajuan 120km/j (Kalau tak silap)
Saga FLX CVT ni sudah tentu lebih ‘nimble’ dgn IAFM+..Sangat teruja ni..

S = SAT mode = step auto mode. Kadang2 ade customer yg nk jerking feeling mcm AT gearbox, tekan je button tu, dier simulate cam AT.
Kete ni kalau bwk, pickup akan rase agak best..x feel slugish. Bg aku quite a huge improvement compared to current 4AT. So aku sgt recommend korang try bawak kete nih =)

Yg pasti isnin ni launch, mm FL 1.6 jg,syp2 kuar. SA br tel,jmput test drive isnin. Dh blh booking.

em,itu kena tggu official cnfirmation dr proton, tp kalu bc pd cvt mini cooper yg pkai punch cvt vt1,sama jer kalu on sat pun. Dia hanya simulation ajer pd fixed ratio. Software based. Tp kalu pkai L@low gear,engine akan rev 20 percent higher than normal, throttle response lebih crisp dan of course, minyakpun kuatlah. Cvt vt4 ada, tp untuk 4 wheel,xtaula kalu prtn nk wat suv 4 wheel pkai yg ni.

sebab peak horsepower dia kat 6k rpm. Sebab tuh rev cut kat 6k,xnak bg org over rev kot,so enjin lebih tahan lama.

untuk enhance low end maybe the long runner to be made longer or long runner maybe to be made in a smaller diameter in order to limit the air entering therefore a batter volumetric efficiency can be achieved at lower engine speed. the longer runner or smaller diameter runner will also give a batter swirl effect that promote batter combustion for a batter torque, then at higher rev, the short runner activates slight earlier to overcome a higher rev fast breathing process where it needs more un restricted air supply which the re tune long runner can no loner support for rapid air intake.
this is just an imagine-eering, a hikayat from a last night dream.

so according to the spec sheer ,driving at constant 90km/h
the normal automatic returns 6.3 litre / 100km
and the cvt boxed returns 6.0 litre / 100km.
anyway, where goes iafm+ ,spec sheet just show the iafm with similar engine power spec.

confirm rm44.9k.. rm45k la senang .. untuk high spec ..
engine takde perubahan, sama, just cvt, spec engine sama, cuma save minyak, cvt baru sama ngan manual lama. Yang lain ABS break for cvt. SAT mmg ada.
Cvt baru: 6l/100km @ 90kmj auto lama: 6.3l/100km
manual baru lagi save 5.7l/100km @ 90kmj. manual lama: 6.0l/100km
Max output lain dulu 94hp(70kW)/6000pm skang 94hp(70kW)/5750
Ouh, kat pamplet ada tulis, power window life time warranty, skang pakai proton ride and handling

before that,
what can compare now are
the dip stick for FLX is longer and slanting.
heat sheild for exhaust manifold slightly different
oxygen sensor wire wrap is black instead of green
a drivers side engine mounting bracket is made from alloy. as well as on the cvt,
cam belt cover bolt is more visible and bigger. (easy to dismantle)
reroute ac piping near the abs module.
else i dont know.

itu indicator ABS apabila ia sedang aktif…let say hang tekan brake kuat2 or emergency brake, signal tu mungkin akan menyala bagi menandakan ABS sedang berfungsi/aktif.

Normal auto 4AT kita boleh downshift dr D ke 3 ke 2 ke L bila naik jln berbukit atau bila nk extra pickup memotong D ke 3
Since CVT ni xde OD utk extra pickup mase memotong or +/- shifter jadi mcmane nk downshift bile tibe2 naik jln berbukit since L akan drop terus ke gear 1 kan… ape pendapat sifu semua… sila komen

Jgn risau, dalam SAGA FLX ni L gear tak bermaksud 1st gear…
It will shift to 1 or 2 step lower gear than current ratio…engine speed will rev up a little bit and we get the torque to accelerate…

saya dh terang kat atas td ali, bila masuk L, bkn masuk gear satu mcm conv auto, sbb cvt nih indefinite ratio, ratio dia akan jd rendah 20 peratus dr biasa n bermaksud rev juga akan meningkat 20 peratus dr biasa utk lebih pickup. Xperlu nak tkr ke L sbenarnya cvt kalu naik bukit,just rev jer,no problem.
